I have worked for many years as a healthcare professional in Scotland, England and Ireland.
In
1999 I began my 4-year long training in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the Tivoli Institute in Dun
Laoghaire County Dublin, graduating in 2003.
I went on to gain accreditation with IACP (Irish
Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) in 2006, and also with IAHIP (The Irish Association of
Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy) in 2010.
I received a certificate in Cyclical
Supervision for counsellors & psychotherapists in 2009, and that same year, I graduated from a 5
year long training course in Theotherapy (also a psychodynamic model), recognised by IACC (Irish
Association of Christian Counsellors) and ACC-UK (Association of Christian Counsellors UK).
In
2011 I was awarded the European Certificate of Psychotherapy, and in 2012 I completed a 2 year long
training, and received the Gestalt diploma in supervision for psychotherapists. I became an accredited
supervisor with IAHIP in 2013.
I have also had training in Sand Therapy which can be a very
useful and creative tool for the therapeutic journey.
I am dedicated to facilitating and
supporting my clients on their journey towards resolving their conflicts and struggles and reaching
their full potential in a safe, accepting and confidential environment where healing and growth are
nurtured.
