Counselling in a Safe, Caring and Confidential Environment

About Me

I have worked for many years as a healthcare professional in Scotland, England and Ireland.

In 1999 I began my 4-year long training in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the Tivoli Institute in Dun Laoghaire County Dublin.

After successfully completing the Certificate for the Foundation Course in Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2000, I went on to gain the Professional Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2003. I gained accreditation with IACP (Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) in 2006, and in May 2010 I also became accredited with IAHIP (The Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy).

Following this, I graduated from a 5 year long training course in Theotherapy (also a psychodynamic model), recognised by IACC (Irish Association of Christian Counsellors) and ACC (Association of Christian Counsellors UK).

I have also had training in Sand Therapy which can be a very useful and creative tool for the therapeutic journey.

In 2012 I completed 2 year long training, and received a diploma in clinical supervision for psychotherapists.

I am dedicated to facilitating and supporting my clients on their journey towards resolving their conflicts and struggles and reaching their full potential in a safe, accepting and confidential environment where healing and growth are nurtured.
